How to Get Reshiram Treat (Where to Find Snacksworth)
Reshiram Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Reshiram's Moves and Weaknesses
Once you've cleared the Indigo Disk DLC in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you'll be able to catch several Legendary Pokemon from previous generations. To find them, you will need special Pokemon treats, which can be obtained from Mr. Snacksworth, an NPC at Blueberry Academy. If you're lucky, you'll receive a Reshiram Treat.
Reshiram is a Dragon/Fire-type that debuted in Pokemon Black as the mascot Legendary, opposite Dragon/Electric-type Zekrom. Like the other returning Legendary Pokemon in Scarlet/Violet, you will need to complete Blueberry Quests (BBQs) if you want a chance at catching the Vast White Pokemon.

Zapdos can be caught in the Paldea region, but only after you beat the main story of The Indigo Disk DLC for Scarlet and Violet.
How to Get Reshiram Treat (Where to Find Snacksworth)
10 Solo BBQs (Scarlet), 1 Group BBQ (Violet)
You'll need to complete the Indigo Disk's story and catch Terapagos before you can find Mr. Snacksworth. After the credits, you can go to the Entrance of Blueberry Academy to find Mr. Snacksworth standing in front of the seats to the right of the reception desk.
For every 10 BBQ you complete, Mr. Snacksworth will give you a Legendary Pokemon Treat. The type of Treat is randomized, so if you don't get a Reshiram Treat on the first try, you'll need to keep working at those BBQs.
It may be easier for you to get Reshiram in Pokemon Scarlet rather than Pokemon Violet. This is due to the Reshiram Treat being locked behind 10 Solo BBQs. These can be completed at any time without needing to join a Union Circle. Despite this, it is possible to get Reshiram in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet without resorting to trading or transferring.
Getting Reshiram Treat in Pokemon Violet
To get the Reshiram Treat in Pokemon Violet, you will need to completeoneGroup BBQ. As their name implies, these are obtained by completing BBQs while you are in a Union Circle. Once you complete three solo BBQs with a red background in your Union Circle, you will unlock one Group BBQ (gold background). You can check your BBQs by tapping right on the directional pad.
If there's a quest you don't like, you can change the quest for the cost of 10BP in the BBQ menu.
To be in a Union Circle, you need to have a Nintendo Online Membership. This will allow you to use Scarlet/Violet's online features. Connect to the internet with the L-button in the pause menu (X-button). You can then join Union Circles by accessing the Poke Portal, or going to the yellow Union Circle stations at Poke Centers, Mossui Town (Kitakami), or Central Plaza (Terarium).
Reshiram Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
South of Zapapico
After you obtain the Reshiram Treat, Mr. Snacksworth will give you a hint of its whereabouts:
"I saw Reshiram with my own eyes, out near a town that I'd passed through in Paldea. It was a town where a lot of hardworking folk live — the type that get their hands dirty. I'd climbed up to a nice height to look out upon all their hard work, carved into the landscape. I was just remarking to myself what a fine show of effort it was, when I seemed to feel a presence behind me. And when I turned, bam! There was Reshiram, right at my shoulder!"
The "town where a lot of hardworking folk live" refers to Zapapico, and you can find Reshiram itself at a waterfall on a plateau south from Zapapico in East Province (Area One).
Refer to the orange objective flag on the map in the above and below images for Reshiram's exact location:

Reshiram's Moves and Weaknesses
Type: Dragon/Fire
Reshiram is a level 70 Legendary Pokemon, and because it's legendary, you will want to save your game before talking to it (A-button). If you accidentally knock it out, you can reload your file and try again.
Its Dragon/Fire-typing means that it has the following type effectiveness and moves:
Weak to: | Dragon, Ground, Rock |
---|---|
Resistant to: | Fire, Grass, Bug, Electric, Steel |
Immune to: | N/A |
Power | PP | Accuracy | |
---|---|---|---|
Fire Blast | 110 | 5 | 85% |
Fusion Flare | 100 | 5 | 100% |
Hyper Voice | 90 | 10 | 100% |
Flamethrower | 90 | 15 | 100% |
- Thanks to its Fire-typing, Reshiram takes regular damage from Fairy-type moves, which would otherwise stomp Dragon-types flat. It also suffers only 1/4x damage from Grass and Bug-type attacks.
- This Reshiram's moveset lacks Dragon-type moves, meaning if you bring a Dragon-type to battle it for a type advantage, you won't have to worry about it landing a super-effective hit.
- However, you don't want to KO it, so focus on chipping away at its health. It may also help to inflict status ailments on it such as Sleep or Paralysis before throwing an Ultra Ball.
- Bring Ultra Balls and Timer Balls; Reshiram's catch rate is 3%. Dusk Balls may also help if you're trying to catch Reshiram at night.
