Gen V Season 1 is a superhero black comedy television series. It is a spin-off from the television series The Boys and is based on the same source material, the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Gen V is developed by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters who serve as executive producers and showrunners. Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen, both executive producers on The Boys return to play the same role for this R-rated young adult adventure. Writer and producer, Craig Rosenberg also contributes to the spin-off, having played a pivotal role in the production of The Boys. Gen V is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studies and Amazon Studios.

Introducing a batch of new young 'Supes-in-training', Gen V has a young and impressive cast. Leading the ensemble is Jaz Sinclair, known for her role in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She plays Marie M., a graduate from the Vought Institute about to take her first steps at the Vought College. Joining her is Lizzie Broadway who portrays Emma Shaw another student set to learn the skills of crimefighting at Godolkin University. Sean Patrick Thomas and Patrick Schwarzenegger are Polarity and Golden Boy respectively. The wider cast includes Marco Pigossi, Chance Perdomo, London Thor, and Maddie Phillips amongst others. Gen V Season 1 was released on September 29, 2023 on the streaming platform Amazon Prime.
